10 Bible Verses to Ignite Your Morning

I have to admit, I have a love-hate relationship with mornings. On one hand, I love the freshness of beginning a day anew. There’s a sense of hope and redemption I smell along with my morning coffee that wipes away the disappointments of yesterday. On the other, I struggle with insomnia and rarely seem to get enough sleep. I’m not a “morning lark,” but more of a “night owl.” Despite my proclivity to stay up late, I appreciate all the wonderful Bible verses about mornings.

I’m comforted by the repetition through the Psalms that tell us to hang on, a new morning is coming. It’s like getting a get-out-of-jail-free card or bonus do-over. Each day we can start fresh; God’s mercies are new every morning.
